About Gasper Cottage

Secluded country garden around a classic thatched cottage of about 2 acres, with views out to glorious countryside. Thoughtful colour combinations have been developed in the different ares of the garden. There is luxurious planting of roses, delphiniums, campanulas and peonies and other summer specialities. Many tender plants are bedded out each summer for that extra sizzle and wow factor. A perennial wildflower meadow hosts an orchard and a developing forest garden with wildlife pond. Bella’s art studio is open for visiting. The studio garden has exuberant planting and a sophisticated formal pond. There is a pergola with herb terrace. There are benches all around the garden to enjoy the views and either bask in the sun or shelter in the shade. Johnnie will be running model steam trains on the O Gauge garden model railway. Something for everyone to enjoy.
