About Great Thurlow Hall

Great Thurlow Hall Garden was developed in the middle of the last century by the present owner’s grandfather. There is a large walled kitchen garden which includes a vinery, berry cage, greenhouse, espaliered fruit and a variety of apple trees along with a mixed picking border and vegetable patches. The main garden has mixed borders, a rose garden, a gazebo, large lawns, yew hedges and arboretum. A new development is now taking place on the site of a old tennis court which is being turned into a parterre with yew hedging and borders so please come along and see how it’s progressing.

Artists will be demonstrating fine art printmaking skills and the Gallery features prints by leading C20 Artists inc Paula Rego, Edward Bawden, Mark Hearld.
