About Kings Cottage
Kings Cottage comprises a row of 17th century cottages converted in the 20th century into a single home. The garden comprises the original front cottage gardens and is largely laid to lawn at the rear with mature yew hedges, small pond, mature trees and flower beds. In the 1950s a further area of land was acquired (now comprising underplanted spinney, lawn, yew columns, wild flower bank and flower beds with tennis court) and in the 1980s a paddock was acquired (now with mown paths and planted with trees and wild flowers). The plot is nearly three acres in size and has been owned by the current owners for ten years.
Light refreshments include teas, coffees, soft drinks and cake.
