Madehurst

A sloping garden with some steps and uneven surfaces. The planting is mainly herbaceous perennials with very few annuals. There are shrubs, climbers and small fruit trees and fans grown of dwarf root stock. There are a couple of large ornamental cherry trees and a small copse of trees outside the southwest boundary of the garden, which afford the garden good wind protection. Owner's art exhibition on the day.
