The owners bought a 1¾ acre bare, treeless blank canvas in 2010 with grass around 3ft high! Since then they have designed a Tudor folly and jungle hut, built a pergola, excavated a lily pond with bog garden created a cottage garden, orchard, and vegetable garden. They have planted hundreds of conifer, evergreen, fruit and flowering trees, roses, hydrangeas, perennials and designed numerous flower beds.

About Monarchs Way

We bought a 1¾ acre bare ,treeless blank canvas in 2010 with grass around three feet high! Since then we have designed a Tudor folly and jungle hut, built a pergola, excavated a lily pond with bog garden created a cottage garden, orchard and vegetable garden. We have planted hundreds of conifer, shrubs, evergreen, fruit and flowering trees, roses and perennials and designed numerous flower beds. Our aim has been for our garden to have areas of colour and interest throughout the year. The garden was designed by Bill and Eileen, hard landscaping built by our son Martyn.
Very limited parking at the house, further parking is available at the other end of Park lane ¾ mile walk through pleasant countryside, mixed garden based groups are welcome by appointment June to August

Directions to Monarchs Way
From Port Ln (main road between Codsall & Brewood) turn E onto Park Ln. Monarchs Way is on the sharp bend on Park Ln. Limited parking, (further parking is available at other end of Park ln).

This garden has now completed its National Garden Scheme openings for this year.

  • Wheelchair access is easy for most of the garden, on arrival request side gate for access. Minibuses can be accepted.
