Muncaster Mill

Almost 2 acres of garden created since 2003. Naturalistic in style with a number of ponds, trees, shrubs, cornus, rhododendrons, azaleas, rambler roses and hydrangea. Seasonal perennials and spring bulbs to give interest throughout the year. 'La Ratty' steam train runs alongside garden. The garden has areas that are often wet, with steep slopes, and sturdy shoes are recommended.

The garden is part of a native woodland managed by the owners who have planted over 10,0000 trees along footpaths and bridleways.

On A595 ¾m N of the turning for Ravenglass. As A595 crosses the RAER 'Ratty Railway' turn in by the millstones marked Muncaster Mill.
