About Park Farm

The garden has an immensely diverse range of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants, many rare or unusual. There are well over 500 different varieties of shrubs, including for example a very wide range of hydrangeas and acers. Over 30 different salvias compliment the extensive perennial borders. The garden has colour from early spring bulbs and blossom through to late summer and autumn dahlias, cannas and hedychiums. The garden design has evolved over 35 years and encompasses both wide vistas and quiet secluded areas. Photographs and descriptions can be found (no.59) in the 2017 blog of 90 gardens in the NGS (www.thegardengateisopen.blog) and in Garden News July 2022 and Garden Answers September 2023.
