About Parracombe Gardens
Set in the historic Exmoor village of Parracombe, with its Norman motte & bailey castle and St Petrock’s, an ancient Grade l listed C12 church (guided tours available). Church Cottage has informal cottage style beds, a large vegetable/cut flower area and an orchard. Laurel House is a small gem of a garden, packed with successional planting and landscape features. Littleclose has a terraced garden, roses, an orchard and a lovely view of the motte & bailey castle. Park View's small secret garden is planted with herbaceous perennials and bulbs and a pond encourages wildlife. South Hill House has a walled front garden and a cobbled courtyard leading to the rear garden, with its herbaceous borders and mature trees, set beside the river Heddon. Parracombe village primary school will showcase flowers and vegetables grown by the pupils. Teas/light lunches and WC at Pavilion Community Stores and Café.
