About Stonelands House

Originally built as a dowager house for the nearby Luscombe estate, the house and gardens were landscaped over many years until being sold into private ownership where a lot of the landscaping was updated and added to from the 1930s-60s. The house then went through numerous occupants including being used as a business premises, until being bought 15 years ago by the current owner, at which time a programme of extensive landscaping was carried out under designs by Arabella Lennox-Boyd resulting in the present planting scheme. With plenty more planting and re-design to come the garden should be ever-changing, adding to the already significant collections.
