The Manor, Beaminster is set in in the heart of Beaminster. 16 acres of stunning Parkland with mature specimen trees, lake & cascade. The Manor House looks forward to welcoming new & returning visitors. This peaceful garden is a haven for wildlife with a woodland walk, wild flower meadow orchard & walled garden. Beautifully maturing, the walled garden was thoughtfully designed and planted 18 years ago. Pergola with wisteria, climbing roses and honeysuckle. Peonies, Iris and roses en masse and a stunning contemporary water feature. Also some interesting pieces of sculpture, a beautiful mix of old & new. There is a Victorian cascade and a large lake in the garden with ducks and black swans. Meet Bob, Roly & Holly our Pygmy goats & the Alpacas. Bring a picnic, the garden is open all day. Afternoon teas are served in the Coach House garden.
