About The Oast

An atmospheric one-acre garden in an idyllic setting, nestled in the folds of the rolling High Weald with a beautiful view, which has been featured twice in The English Garden magazine, most recently online in June 2024. Year-round interest, with highlights in spring and late summer/autumn: over 4000 tulips plus other spring bulbs and flowers in April; dahlias, salvias, grasses and asters interplanted with colourful annuals later in summer into autumn. Half-acre wildflower meadow with old roses and small orchard. Mixed borders, pot displays, wildlife pond, vegetables and soft fruit, plus new woodland-edge walk and salix glade being developed. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views of the garden and wider landscape. Quality home-grown plants for sale.
