About The Vine

The Lady with Unicorn tapestries in Musee Cluny inspired us in our current development. We have flower beds for seeing, tasting, touching, hearing and smelling – and the sixth sense is love which we hope you can see everywhere in the garden!
We have 13 flower beds currently, some of them under development but in the last 5 years we have changed all the soil using our own compost. We say No to weeds and overgrown species and have tried to invite more sun onto the flower beds. We’ve fitted a scheme of leaking pipes to minimise the amount of labour. We have an excellent team of 4 working on the garden throughout the year. Most of the flower beds have their own sculptures which echo the idea of the bed. We also have a lovely little 18th cent Summer House, an inspiration for a talented local artist! An artistically designed plan of the garden is available which is easy to follow.
