Wembury Walled Garden

Originally the productive garden for Wembury House, the Walled Garden dates from 1780. About an acre with an attached old orchard currently being restored and developed by the tenants (owners of Torview). Beds of flowers grown for cutting, vegetables and soft fruit. An exotic garden, wildlife pond and wildflower meadows. Roses, irises and mixed borders.

About Wembury Walled Garden

One of the glasshouses is by the Messenger Company, this contains peach and nectarine trees and a grapevine, the second is a Foster & Pearson house now in a state of dereliction, this having an attached pineapple pit which has been modernised and is used for cropping.
