About Stody Lodge
The spectacular and unusual Stody Lodge Gardens is well-known for the sheer intensity of its planting together on a grand scale, 14-acres in total. The extensive collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, magnolias and camellias, all under-planted with bluebells and spring bulbs, continue to make this family garden an exhilarating and inspiring destination.
The 4-acre Water Gardens, approached via the long rhododendron-lined drive, are considered to be the largest mass planting of Azalea mollis (around 2,000 plants) in the country.
