About The Birches

At the front of the house is a white garden, pale herbaceous planting is designed to provide a glowing light effect in the evening.

The gardens at the rear are split into 5 distinct areas, closest to the house are the large Koi and wildlife pond surrounded by 200 foot of herbaceous borders leading to the Meadow which is flanked by a Grasses and tropical border with summerhouse and fernery.

Mid garden is the orchard with Hens, Apiary and a wildlife area including small pond, dead hedges and Bug hotels.

At the end of the garden is the vegetable plot with cordoned fruit trees and path that leads to a sunken garden by the stream with bog planting and views over the open country side beyond.
