East and West Rudham are adjoining villages surrounded by countryside with Anglo Saxon origins. Easily accessible from Kings Lynn and Fakenham, The Crown pub sits on the village green with a coffee shop and deli close by. There are large playing fields and a jolly playground. The four gardens are very varied in history, design and planting providing inspiration and enjoyment for visitors. C18 Dragonfly Cottage has a ½ acre plot with lawned areas, mature trees and colourful herbaceous borders, two small ponds, wildflower areas and small vegetable/cutting garden. Georgian Wensum House has associations with the Royal family and has a two acre established garden with large herbaceous borders, rose arches, statuary and small meandering stream. Wensum Farmhouse also sits on two acres with a walled cottage style garden and adjoining wild meadow with ponds and meandering paths.
