About Tower House

Tower House, a folly, built on the orders of Benjamin Flounders in (we think) 1838 is a twin to his more well known folly on Callow Hill. The garden of just under two acres is designed with the panoramic views of the Corvedale in mind. Created gradually over 50yrs by Priscilla, when her painting allows, has formal and informal flowers, vegetables and a small wooded area in the quarry.
