About Victoria Square Community Garden

Friends of Victoria Square was set up in 2019 after initial concerns by the local community and the Penarth Civic Society Sub-Group, The Penarth Tree Forum, over the neglect of The Square and the condition of the trees within it. Rather than just make it another PTF managed location, local residents decided to set up their own, dedicated group to do this. The group also looked to enhance the space with additional features, several of which have gone on to not only delight visitors and users of The Square, but serve as great nature habitats for the local wildlife, and educational tools for local children and adults alike on the environment, conservation and nature.
