About 16 Chaucer Road

3/4 acre mature garden designed for year round structure and colour, with a lawn big enough for games and marquees, and surrounded by trees, including lilacs, a cox apple tree and a mature douglas fir. Large beds contain many flowering plants and shrubs, including pink and white currants and a canary rose which are usually out. Several hidden paths were designed for children to play hide and seek.
Through a couple of rose pergolas there are fruit trees, blackberries and magnificent flowering rhubarb. Passing through a tall arch in a hawthorn hedge there are oaks, alder, yew, ash, hazel and hawthorn {with unusually large flowers and berries} in a wild area with sculpture.
