About 8 Almack Road

This is one solution to the typical long narrow walled garden behind a terraced house. It is cut into two rooms: the first is tranquil, with grass shrubs and a winding path, enticing you out of the house. The second is hidden but sunny and pink when you discover it, with a greenhouse, brick paths, many pots and a large blue agave nicknamed ‘Audrey’. Every year there are changes to get the best from a NE-facing garden on a sandy soil prone to summer drought.
