Hill Farm

The garden extends to approx ½ acre and is made up of a series of gardens inc a formal courtyard with a pond and vegetable garden with south facing wall. An orchard and wildflower meadow were established about 6 yrs ago. A principal feature is a woodland garden which supports a rich variety of woodland plants. This was extended in April 2020 to inc a pond and grass/herbaceous borders.

About Hill Farm

In 2023 we opened a small art gallery featuring work by local Cheshire artists. This is open throughout the year Friday to Sunday 11.00 to 4.00. Cheshire Artists Network will be holding an exhibition in the Gallery at the time of our garden open days. the theme of the exhibition will be ‘flowers’.

Our woodland garden is now establishing, supporting a wide variety of woodland bulbs and plants. it includes a seating area adjacent to a wildlife pond. We are currently establishing a larger woodland area focusing on a mixed range of native trees and shrubs.

From Sandbach town centre take A533 towards Middlewich. After Fox pub take next L (Mill Lane) to a canal bridge & turn L. Hill Farm 400m on R just before post box.
