Cedar glasshouse with lemon tree and peach growing up the south facing wall, tomatoes, cucumbers in season and propagating area. Potting shed and compost heaps,
Front gravel area has seating, log store and pots with Clerodendrum, Rose & Canna.
Formal garden accessed via narrow path and gate, leading to Indian stone seating areas with planting around. Pots with Tulips, Bedding plants or Agapanthus in season. Either side of the garden room steps are 2 shaped Yew. Middle paving area with armillary, pond with pumped stream and rockery area with Alpines. This area is bordered by a Yew hedging to one side, with an arch & gate opening to:
The rear lawned garden is bounded by mixed herbaceous planting and trees including Acer Griseum, Acer Palmatum, Liquidambar styraciflua ‘Slender Silhouette’, Gleditsia, Beech, Magnolia Stellata, Mahonia, Black Bamboo, Honeysuckle and on the south facing wall of the property a Trachelospermum Jasminoides. Large garden bench to take in the views over the garden and the Howardian Hills beyond.
Various stone statues and features around the garden including a complimenting pepper pot design in the same stone as the rebuilt dry-stone wall to the south boundary.
