Sefton Park Gardens

Seven glorious examples of inner city gardening are on offer from the Sefton Park group this year. The opening is timed for the gardens’ stunning rose displays. There are five private gardens, all beautifully planted, varying from the small colourful back garden in Croxteth Grove, to the spacious grandeur of Park Mount, backing on to Sefton Park itself. The gardens of Sefton Villa and Sydenham Avenue have exquisite planting schemes. The secret walled garden in Prince Alfred Road has much to delight and charm visitors. At Sefton Park Allotments, some of the best kept plots in the city are on display. And there’s fun for all the family at Fern Grove Community Garden.
