About The Old House
1 acre of lawns and borders merging into fields, with an amazing view over Hollowell reservoir, this is a beautiful spot. Additional woodland between here and The Old Rectory (also open) has spring flowers, bluebells and rhododendrons. The paddocks are enhanced by llamas, mares and foals.
Children particularly enjoy meeting all the animals here. It might be of interest that the premises were used as a hunting lodge by King George V1 and Queen Elizabeth when they were Duke and Duchess of York in the 1920s.
