About The Rudhams
East and West Rudham are adjoining villages surrounded by countryside with Anglo Saxon origins. Easily accessible from Kings Lynn and Fakenham. The four gardens are very varied in history, design and planting providing inspiration and enjoyment for visitors. Georgian Wensum House with historic royal connections has a two acre garden alongside a winding stream with large herbaceous borders, rose arches and statuary. C18 Dragonfly Cottage has a ½ acre plot with colourful herbaceous borders, ponds, wildflower areas and small vegetable and cutting garden. Wensum Farmhouse sits on two acres with a small walled cottage style garden and adjoining wild meadow with ponds, meandering paths and restored shepherd’s hut. Close by, The White Cottage is a naturalistic and pollinator friendly cottage garden with colourful borders and courtyard. A local art exhibition will also be available at Wensum Farmhouse.
