About Cerney House Gardens

Cerney House Gardens is a romantic, secret place in the Cotswolds, near to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. This was originally developed extensively by Lady Angus and her daughter Barbara.The overall principle of the garden is to work in conjunction and enjoy nature.The home remains in the Angus family.
The walled garden features a knot garden which is overflowing with colour from the tulip display in the spring. During the summer there are alliums. a lavender walk, long herbaceous borders and a scented garden filled with a heady aroma of the beautiful old-fashioned roses. We have a medicinal herb garden.
New ‘Hot border’ and’Contrast border’ provide late summer colour.
We maintain a working kitchen garden growing heritage vegetables.
