About Mannington Estate

Mannington offers 20 acres of stunning gardens, lakes and woodland, centred around a medieval moated manor. The gardens include cedar trees, yew hedges and mature trees from the 19th and early 20th centuries, with the main borders, rose and scented gardens, and arboretum developed from the 1970s onwards. More recent additions include the Sensory Garden, Four Elements Garden, and dedicated spaces for children and those with limited mobility.

Families can enjoy the playground and enchanted trail, with seasonal quizzes and activities throughout the year.

Mannington is managed with nature in mind, featuring a rich wildflower meadow, a boardwalk leading to a bird hide and scrape, and miles of woodland and lake walks. The 15th-century hall, surrounded by a lily-filled moat, and the ruined medieval church create a truly magical setting.
