About Manor House Farm, Wellingham
Lawns surround the wisteria and rose clad house which is next to the 13th century church.
Having walked through the walled garden which surrounds the house, you approach the formal quadrants, with dovecote, filled with various plantings including bulbs in the spring and clematis and roses during the summer. Walk through the rose tunnel and down the pleached lime walk and take in the small arboretum and shrub border, plus fruit cage, before making your way back through the kitchen garden and all the way round to the Taj Garden full of old fashioned roses, lilies and a reflective pool with koi carp enjoying the fountain. Take a cup of tea on the terrace here and treat yourselves to a slice of homemade cake.
