About Tyn Y Pant

At around 1½ acres this sheltered rural garden is surrounded by farmland and deciduous woodland 3 miles from the coast. There is plenty of interest year-round, in spring, banks of bluebells greet you on the drive to the main garden, wisteria clothe the front of the cottage, and a growing collection of snowdrops and daffodils are a delight. Developing around mature trees, shrubs and ponds the owners are constantly adding to the planting and features, relying heavily on recycling, reusing and repurposing materials for construction and growing plants from seeds and cuttings. There are a plethora of places to sit and take a moment to relax unwind and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. The garden is run organically and is a haven for all sort of wildlife. A productive vegetable garden was the first addition and includes a polytunnel and raised beds. A large greenhouse, pavilion, acer glade and mixed borders were next. New for 2025 are a fernery and a 75sqm mixed border. Plans are being developed to add a large orchard and beehives.
