Woodcote Villa

In a much admired location, this stunning canalside garden has a large variety of plants, styles, structures and unusual bygones. Bulbs and hellebores abound in March, colourful planting in July/September, many pots, all set against a backdrop of trees and shrubs in themed areas. Places to sit and watch the narrowboats and wildlife. Plants for sale (cash only). Sorry, no WC.

About Woodcote Villa

Situated in a small hamlet, this garden has featured in Garden Answers and Garden News magazines and is full of ideas and plant selections for individual areas and appeals to flower arrangers due to the large variety of foliage plants and shrubs. Several pathways lead visitors to different parts of the garden.

As garden owners, we are devoted to supporting the National Garden Scheme (£3,500 raised in 2024) and assure our visitors they will receive a warm welcome. Questions willingly answered. A water bowl is provided for dogs.

Great choice of home-made cakes and beverages. Parking is recommended in the lay-bys on the A5 close-by and meals, drinks and facilities are available at The New Inn Pub almost opposite.

National Garden Scheme open days are usually publicised by Northampton Radio.

Visit by Arrangement

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from 24 March to 24 August for groups of between 15 and 35.
