Mount House occupies a ½ acre of walled gardens overlooked by St Sampson's Church. Architect designed, the gardens are undergoing a substantial restoration, having been neglected for many years. The designs includes herbaceous borders containing rare species in variety, grassed mounds, lawns, trees, shrubs, ferns, glasshouse, water-feature, and sculpture. It is very much a work in progress.

Mount House is on the High St opp the Town Council offices. Limited parking available, but there is additional parking by the Town Hall nearby.

You can just turn up and pay on the day.

Visit by Arrangement

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from 24 July for groups of between 12 and 50.

Please contact the garden owner to discuss your requirements and arrange a date for a group or bespoke visit.
