22 Pinfold Close, Repton

Small garden with an interest in tropical plants. Palms, gingers, cannas and bananas. The garden also inc a safari breeze hut, wildlife pond, greenhouse and conservatory with a variety of unusual plants. We have constructed raised beds to the front garden which is full of colour. Small alpine beds have been established over the past 18 months. Opens for By Arrangement visits from 5 May to 25 August for groups of up to 10.

Snitterton Hall, Matlock

Snitterton Hall is a Grade I listed late Elizabethan manor house. Its gardens extend to over four acres. While little of the original C16 and C17 gardens remain, there are areas of formal planting, a productive vegetable garden and more naturally planted areas extending into the surrounding countryside. Delightful collection of sculptures. The gardens are a real haven for wildlife. Opens for By Arrangement visits from April to 14 September for groups of up to 25.

27 Wash Green, Matlock

Beautiful large garden, with outstanding views of historic Wirksworth town, and the surrounding Ecclesbourne valley. Inner walled area has topiary, pergola and mixed borders. The larger part of the garden has sweeping lawns, large beds planted for year-round colour, wildlife pond with summerhouse, bog garden, areas of woodland and specimen trees. Also productive fruit and vegetable garden. Opens for By Arrangement visits from 5 May to 28 September for groups of between 6 and 30.

Yew Tree Bungalow, Matlock

Plantswoman’s ½ acre cottage style garden on a slope created by the present owners over 30 yrs. Many mixed borders planted with many choice and unusual trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennial, bulbs and annuals to provide year-round interest. Several seats to view different aspects of the garden. Shady area planted with a wide range of ferns. Vegetable and fruit garden. Opens for By Arrangement visits from 21 April to 16 August for groups of between 6 and 30.
