This subtropical garden is an unexpected find, especially given the more traditional front garden, which features mainly lavender and salvias. They flow into each other, each with their own gentle colour schemes. The exception is the croquet lawn garden, which is a riot of colour, mixing oranges, reds, yellows and pinks. On the terrace is a large date palm, and beyond the main garden there are tropical plants and ferns. You then pass through a gate into a secret garden.
