Japanese inspired gardens to explore this year

Alongside the quintessentially English gardens that open each year for the National Garden Scheme, we also have a whole host of  gardens which draw their influences from around the world, including beautiful Japanese gardens.

Why Val, owner of Tranquility Haven, decided to open her beautiful Japanese inspired garden…

When Val Brown, owner of Tranquility Haven (pictured above), lost her husband to cancer she decided to open up her beautiful Japanese Stroll garden in Wales in his memory and to give something back to Macmillan Cancer Support who had provided care for her husband. Opening with the National Garden Scheme means that Val is not only supporting Macmillan but some of the best-loved nursing and health charities in the UK.
