National Garden Scheme Annual Lecture 2017
To mark our 90th anniversary we will once again open the doors to the Royal Geographical Society for an evening of horticultural delight on October 31st. This a special event entitled The Glory of the Garden: 90 Years of the National Garden Scheme.
There will be three esteemed speakers on the night; National Garden Scheme President Mary Berry, Lord Ashbrook; four generations of whose family have opened the garden of Arley Hall, Cheshire since 1927 and Daily Telegraph gardens columnist Stephen Lacey, will all talk about opening and visiting gardens, after which Chief Executive, George Plumptre, will chair a Q & A with our guest speakers and the audience.
The lecture will take place at the Royal Geographical Society on Tuesday 31st October, 7pm-8pm and tickets will go on sale on the website from 11th August.
