Sandymere, Cheshire; an evolving classic

There is always something new to discover at Sandymere in Cheshire. Join owner Sir John Timpson for an introduction to a garden that is always evolving:

A closer look

Sixteen landscaped acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside with terraces, walled garden, extensive woodland walks and an amazing hosta garden. Turn each corner and you find another gem with lots of different water features including a new rill built in 2014, which links the main lawn to the hostas.

Stunning azaleas have always been a spring feature and the well stocked extended terrace round the house has matured enough to make the most of an ambitious planting scheme. With a new feature at the end of the duck filled lake, a wild flower garden, and a new boat house, Sandymere continues to fulfil its promise that there is always something new every year.
