About 27 Turners Mill Road
20 years of love and hard work have gone into this small town garden. Despite its size and North Easterly aspect it has packed in a lot. The back garden has been transformed into a sunny courtyard oasis secluded by bamboos, bananas and lined with ferns and hostas. The crowning glory of the side garden is a beautiful Gleditsia ruby lace. If you are in luck the Rosa Banksia will be blossoming as well as variety of spring flowering plants and bulbs. Tucked away in the shade of the house is row of assorted ferns hiding our winter display of hellebores. The tiny greenhouse is used to its full potential and houses seeds, cuttings and a display of succulents. We are proud to say we do not use chemicals in the garden and we have been repaid by an assortment of regular visitors. Our hedgehogs are with us year round and have a choice of houses. Our very small pond is home to an increasing number of frogs and newts.
All this hiding behind a 20 year old beech hedge. A recent addition is prairie planting in the front garden to withstand the extremes of the summer sun.
