The garden was designed and planted in 2005/6. Rural one acre garden close to Sheffield Park Gardens (NT) and Bluebell Railway. Laid out with parterre, clipped yew and mixed hedges and seasonal herbaceous borders. Summer beds with roses, alliums, nepeta, peonies and foxgloves. Summerhouse, wisteria, orchard with wild flowers and bee hives. Vegetables, cut flowers, soft fruit garden with greenhouse. Set in quiet countryside, part of the extensive Chailey Common Nature Reserve. The common is an SSSI for its heathland plants and diverse insect and bird communities. TQ403222
