Mayfield Farm

Mayfield Farm is a seven acre garden which only a few years ago was largely a field, with a huge glasshouse and polytunnels. Now filled with many beautiful beds and borders, we have also created a secret garden and planted yew hedging for topiary. Over a 100,000 bulbs have been planted in the garden during the past few years to create a wonderful spring display.

About Mayfield Farm

Mayfield Farm is a seven acre garden which only a few years ago was largely a field with a huge glass house and poly tunnels. Now we have planted many beds and borders, created a secret garden, planted yew hedging for topiary, created a 200 square metre prairie style border, a pond with bog garden, an edible forest, a walled kitchen garden, and wild insect friendly areas.

Over a hundred thousand bulbs have been planted in the garden during the past three years to create a wonderful spring display.

An evolving garden with a number of projects planned over the next few years.
