Since allowing the wild areas to flourish many flowers are returning, inc orchids, and insect life is thriving. On a south facing slope, the grassy paths make wheelchair access to most of the garden difficult, but much can be seen from the terrace in front of the cottage.

About Rosemary Cottage

1 1/2 acre informal country garden in the heart of West Dorset with a stream, pond and bog garden. Long borders of shrub roses and perennials give way to a large area of wild flowers and grasses. Since allowing the wild areas to flourish many varieties of meadow flowers have returned, including orchids. Insect and bird life is thriving. On a south facing slope, the grassy paths and stone steps unfortunately make wheelchair access to most of the garden difficult, but much can be seen from the large terrace in front of the cottage.
