Description
Join us for an elegant summer evening in the beautiful surroundings of the Walled Kitchen Garden at Rudding Park, Harrogate.
In support of the National Garden Scheme Centenary Show Garden – Harrogate Spring Flower Show 2027
Set within the historic Rudding Park Estate in Follifoot, near Harrogate, the Kitchen Garden offers a unique blend of heritage and contemporary horticulture. Originally shaped by the renowned landscape designer Humphry Repton and more recently enhanced by Matthew Wilson, the estate combines sweeping vistas with carefully curated planting. Notably, ancient oak trees from the former Forest of Knaresborough still grace the parkland, while Repton’s design captures far-reaching views eastwards towards York Minster.
During the evening, guests will enjoy drinks and canapés while exploring this remarkable working garden, which plays a vital role in supplying the adjacent Michelin-starred Restaurant FIFTY TWO – named after the 52 raised beds that make up the garden. There will be an opportunity to learn more about the garden’s design, productivity and sustainability, and to hear directly from a member of the gardening team about its importance and daily operation.
All proceeds will support the creation of the National Garden Scheme Centenary Show Garden at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show 2027.
