The Beehive is a country garden tucked away on the bend of Half Key and Hospital Road. It is an old farmhouse garden with chickens, a few beehives, and a small orchard. Up the drive leads into the more formal gardens around the house. Tea is available on the terrace with a lovely view of North Hill on the Malverns. ⅓ acre gardens. The front has three barrels of ericaceous plants. A conifer bed, hydrangeas and a 300+ yr old olive tree, monkey puzzle, acers, silver birch and shrubs. The centre features a piece of Forest of Dean rock. A rose arch at one entrance. The rear garden is an oasis of colour created by numerous trees inc acers, weeping willow and weeping birch. A rose and hosta bed on one side and a numerous ferns on the other. Beginning in March 2016 the plan was to create a garden with a decidedly tropical feel to inc palms from around the world, with tree ferns, bananas and many other strange and unusual plants from warmer climes that would normally be considered difficult to grow here as well as a pond and small waterfall. A 10 acre historic garden, at the centre of a picturesque Cotswold village, nestled amongst Capability Brown inspired Parkland. The Garden compromises vast formal lawns skirted by a series of rills and ponds which reflect the ancient plane trees that are dotted throughout the garden. The south side of the house has a formal terrace with mixed borders and yew hedging, overlooking a formal lawn with a reflection pool and yew topiary. Running parallel to the pool is a long mixed border which repeats its colours of silver and gold down to the pool house.
