51 The Chase, a taste for tulips

Charles, past Chairman of Society of Garden Designers, and Rupert, Chairman of the National Garden Scheme, have created the garden over 40 years. Spectacular in spring when 2500 tulips bloom among camellias, irises and tree peonies. There’s also a scented front garden and Rupert’s geodetic dome shelters seedlings, succulents and the subtropical. Roses, brugmansia, hibiscus and dahlias abound later in the season.
Visit the garden on Sunday 27 and Tuesday 29 April for tulips – Click here for details
You can also visit By Arrangement from 21 April to 12 October for groups of between 10 and 30.
