Our RHS Chelsea Flower Show story

If you visited the RHS Chelsea Flower Show you would have seen our Gold Medal winning show garden! Designed by now nine times RHS Gold Medal winner, Tom Stuart-Smith, and sponsored by Project Giving Back, the garden exemplified the joy and associated health and wellbeing benefits of garden visiting that have been at the heart of the National Garden Scheme since 1927.  You can glimpse the sublime garden on our social channels and read the story here too.

NEW Emma Bridgewater Chelsea Collection

King Charles III to continue as Patron of the National Garden Scheme

We are delighted to announce that His Majesty the King will continue as Patron of the National Garden Scheme.
His Majesty was Patron of the National Garden Scheme as The Prince of Wales from 2002 and we are extremely grateful that he will continue in the role as King Charles III.

A record £3,403,960 donated to some of the UK’s best-loved nursing and health charities

This record donation represents a superlative achievement by the garden owners and county team volunteers who together worked tirelessly to host open days at 3,389 gardens across the year.

Commenting, National Garden Scheme Chairman Rupert Tyler said: The contribution of the charities that we support has been increasingly vital. Their reach and impact, in cancer and end of life care, in community health and nursing and in particular areas such as people living with Parkinson’s, is immense and we are proud to be a major long-term supporter of them all.

The long-term support of the National Garden Scheme has been fundamental to our operations over the last 26 years, and we’re proud to have a partner like them by our side throughout the changing times
