Two diverse and stunning gardens are opening jointly on Tuesday 20th June to a small audience. With 20 tickets left on sale there isn’t much time to grab the opportunity of seeing Wortley House and Alderley Grange.
Alderley Grange
Originally designed by Alvilde Lees-Milne in the early 1960’s, this quintessentially English garden boasts an abundance of old-fashioned roses and many aromatic and medicinal plants and herbs. Features include a pleached lime walk, fine trees and a Regency summerhouse.
Wortley House
This diverse garden of over 20 acres has been created through the last 30 yrs by current owners and incl walled garden, pleached lime avenues, nut walk, potager, ponds, Italian garden, shrubberies and wild flower meadows.
