Butlers Farmhouse, a rural idyll

Garden Owner Irene Eltringham-Willson invites us into her lovely 1 acre garden. Set in rural East Sussex surrounding a 16th Century farmhouse with views of South Downs it’s pretty in spring with daffodils, hellebores and primroses.

A closer look…

Quite a quirky garden with surprises round every corner including a rainbow border, small pond, Cornish inspired beach corners, a poison garden and secret jungle garden there’s plenty to explore. Although not opening this spring Irene hopes to welcome you in July when the wild meadow reveals its gorgeous orchids and in August when live Jazz will accompany your visit.
