The Nursery & Water Gardens are designated as a County Wildlife Site as part of Lanjeth Heath. Stretching over 13½ acres,130 ponds and lakes are being cleared and renovated by the current owners. Lakes and ponds are spring fed, ensuring pure ecology of each body of water where plants and wildlife flourish. As a natural wet land, water plants thrive: irises and lilies, marginals and oxygenators. Opens Wednesday 22nd July, pre-booking essential.
Tresillian gardens surround the house within 22 acres of lawns, woodlands, orchards, an ornamental lake, paths through camellia woods and a fine walled organic kitchen garden. Our speciality kitchen garden crops are uniquely grown by lunar cycle Moon Gardening.
