More about Crocus, partner for The National Garden Scheme Garden
In 2024, Crocus will be the main partner supplying plants and build services for The National Garden Scheme Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show designed by Tom Stuart-Smith.
Crocus has a long history of working with the country’s leading Garden Designers to grow the plants and build the Show Gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Over the last twenty years, Crocus has grown and built 36 Show Gardens, won 33 Gold Medals and received 12 Best in Shows.
Crocus launched in April 2000 and has since grown into the UK’s largest gardening brand. From their nursery in Surrey they grow and care for over 7,000 different plant varieties, the largest range available online and the only one to have been awarded the Plant Healthy seal of approval.
By working so closely with the best designers in the business, Crocus gets to keep their fingers on the pulse discovering their favourite (often lesser-known) plants they can add to their ever evolving range.
Alongside their huge range of plants, Crocus offers tools to help gardeners of all levels grow; from expert advice written by Plant Doctors, to their free gardening app Iris, to their 5 year plant guarantee. This approach to customer care has helped them become the most trusted online gardening brand, with the highest Trustpilot score from over 50,000 customer reviews.
Mindful of their impact on the planet, Crocus have been taking steps to reduce the carbon footprint of each order. They now grow over 1 million plants from plugs at their nursery, all of which are potted into a peat-free mix into a recyclable taupe pot and watered with recycled rain water.
