Our garden was designed in the early 1900s by Sir Reginald Blomfield: architect, garden designer and author. Yew hedges divide the garden into rooms, each one with its own atmosphere. Topiary peacocks welcome visitors at the front door and densely planted borders ensure botanical interest from spring through to autumn. Please Note: the house will not be open. In a much admired location, this stunning canalside garden has a large variety of plants, styles, structures and unusual bygones. Bulbs and hellebores abound in March, colourful planting in July/September, many well-stocked pots, all set against a backdrop of trees and shrubs in themed areas.
