Fairy lights or tea lights in jars or coloured glasses look magical – raid the Christmas decorations box!
If you have masses of flowers in your garden; some lovely dried lavender heads, or fresh herbs like bay, rosemary or sage – cut and tie into small bunches with pretty ribbon, or raffia, and display in old jam jars for display or for sale.
If you don’t have many chairs – ask guests to bring their own. Rugs, blankets and plenty of cushions also add to a very relaxed party setting.
